The band could be set to take the stage!

U2 have hinted that their tour next year, could be in the 3Arena.

Adam Clayton revealed that the group would rather an indoor gig than a lavish stadium tour, when they hit the road with their new music next year.

The band, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary, are working on their 14th album at the moment, and can’t wait for people to hear the new tracks.

Speaking to Dave Fanning in Cleveland, Adam said, “My instinct is that it’s indoors.

“The shows on the Songs of Innocence tour had a real power because of how they resonated with everybody in the room, because indoor shows are much more about a musical experience, and communing with an audience.

“You could feel that in the room. So similarly, these new songs on Songs of Experience will connect to people in the same way.

“Songs of Experience is going to be taking everything we’ve learned in the last 40 years and consolidating them into one piece of advice which we will dispense at some point.”

We bet fans would be only too happy with the news!
