Poldark star Aidan Turner revealed that there is another leading lady in his life besides his on screen co-star Eleanor Tomlinson, while at the GQ Men of the Year awards last night.
The heartthrob picked up the coveted award for best television actor at the prestigious event for his role as Ross Poldark in the hit show. And after the ceremony, he made fans fall even deeper in love with him when he told reporters that his mum is the most important person in his life.
“My mum’s the number one in my life. I make sure she’s looked after. I would never worry her,” he said.
However, the award-winning actor went on to say that he isn’t always the ideal son and he does have one bad habit that worries his number one woman.
“I do, at the odd moment, take a cigarette,” he admitted.
“I shouldn’t do that but it’s probably the last of my really bad habits. My mum is not impressed with that at all.”
