Saoirse Ronan never fails to make an impact on the red carpet.

She likes to keep out of the public eye when she’s not promoting a film, so her appearances can be few and far between!

So we were delighted to see her step out for the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Her last red carpet event was in 2022 and before that it was 2021. So we are savouring what is likely to be her only appearance in 2023!

For the event, she opted for a white Louis Vuitton two-piece which was both modern and classic – in a way in which only Saoirse Ronan can be.

Her bodice was a sculptural crop top which she paired with a flowing white floor-length skirt that featured a slit up to the thigh. She added a simple pair of silver heels which let the Grecian style co-ord shine at the event.

The Carlow woman’s signature bob was styled into effortless, tousled waves that framed her face. As for her makeup look she opted for an icy pink lip and a buffed-out pink eye. We are simply obsessed!

We’re hopeful to see Saoirse more on the red carpet. We missed out on her Foe press tour due to the actors strike that took place earlier this year.

However, she has an upcoming film The Outrun which is an adaptation of Amy Liptrot’s best-selling memoir, in which Saoirse stars as Rona, who fresh out of rehab, returns to the wild Orkney Islands after more than a decade away.

It has also been announced as she is set to star in an upcoming World War II period drama.

The Carlow native landed the leading role in Apple TV+’s  Blitz. Directed by Steve McQueen, the film follows a group of Londoners during the bombing of the British city amid the war.

She has a third project in the works. According to Deadline, the Irish actress is set to star in the satirical comedy-thriller Bad Apples for Jonatan Etzler, the director of the Swedish film One More Time.

The film, which is an adaption of Rasmus Lindgren’s debut novel De Oönskade, tells the story of Maria (Ronan), a primary school teacher doing her best to inspire a class of 10-year-olds but is unable to because of one unruly and chaotic student.
