Mark Mehigan has revealed that he will be getting behind the microphone for a brand-new podcast!
So what can we expect from the funnyman?
Well, the podcast is entitled Mark Mehigan’s Weekly Roast, which is a comedy pod that takes a hilarious and irreverent look at the quirks and absurdities of everyday life.
Of course, no topic is off-limits as each week, Mark roasts everything from pop culture to movies and current events with special guests featuring regularly.
Yes, the title is definitely a callback to where he got his start with his podcast The Sunday Roast! The last episode of his original pod aired back in 2022.
So he’s back behind the mic with this new venture.
Speaking about his new podcast, Mark Mehigan said: “After many years of writing and recording podcasts in my bedroom, I am incredibly excited to be joining forces with GoLoud and developing this show together.
“I took a long break from podcasting to focus on performing live shows and to write a book, so it feels good to be sitting in a windowless room again, speaking into the abyss. Who would have known that’s where I am the happiest.”
Episode 1 of drops today, Wednesday 17th January and every Wednesday.
Last year, Mark popped the question to Doireann Garrihy.
