Doireann Garrihy and Mark Mehigan are engaged!
The pair announced the happy news via Instagram today with a lovely pic and the caption: “The love of my life ❤️💍.”
Friends of the couple were quick to add their congratulations with Amy Huberman saying: “CONGRATULATIONS that’s gorgeous news! Xxx,” Carl Mullan saying: “The BEST news. Massive congrats,” and Roz Purcell adding: “This is unbelievable news! good man @mehiganmark.”

Presenter Doireann and podcaster Mark have been together since 2022.
The DWTS host told VIP earlier this year that she was in a really good place with the relationship: “When it’s right, it’s right and you don’t have to worry about making time. It just happens.
“It is getting that understanding of where you’re at and vice versa. I think we’re in a solid place.”
She also shared how she and Mark met.
“I followed him on Instagram, his cousin is a producer in RTÉ and he was going to one of his stand-up gigs. I asked who his cousin was and he said Mark Mehigan,” she explained.
“I remember him from some of his viral videos. I followed him and he followed me back. But he DMed me first. That’s an important detail.”
