Bláthnaid Treacy is speaking out, asking followers to stop sharing overly graphic births stories with expecting parents.

The soon-to-be mum opened up on Instagram, and urged followers to hold back on the unsolicited advice and negativity, saying it’s simply “unhelpful.”

Explaining: “It’s incredibly daunting being pregnant, It’s so unhelpful when you give negative stories and say how horrific childbirth is and how your life is over.”

“Unsolicited advice is so unhelpful.”

Writing: “We can’t wait to meet you. Our little lady arrives this summer. Feeling so lucky and grateful.”
