“Obviously, it’s been a tough time recently and he just continues to be a wonderful friend. It’s everything.

“The more I work in the industry, I realise, you make some stuff that people love and you make some stuff that people don’t like, and all really that you are left with is the relationships that you make. I love him dearly,” he added.

Earlier this year, Andrew’s mother, Nora sadly passed away following a short illness.

Opening up about his recent loss, Andrew said: “Life goes on, you manage it day by day.

“It’s very recent, but I certainly can say that so much of it is surprising and unique, and there is so much that I will be able to speak about at some point.”

The actor then admitted to trying to remain positive, however, his accomplishments have been bittersweet since his mother’s passing.

Andrew is currently starring as the lead in the new Netflix series, Ripley.

The limited series is based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels and tells the story of Tom Ripley a grifter scraping by in early ’60s New York whose hired by a wealthy industrialist to travel to Italy to try to convince the man’s dilettante son, Dickie Greenleaf, to return home.
