Ronan Keating has been pretty vocal about his marriage breakdown over the past week, but his former wife Yvonne Connolly has opted for taking the digs in her stride.
Her ex husband has been posting online about how he doesn’t regret the end of his marriage, adding that there was much more to their relationship failing than his affair with backing dancer Francine Cornell.
He followed up with these comments by hitting out at Yvonne for previously claiming he was an “absent father”. “What has been said is nasty & upsetting 4 the family,” he tweeted.
But Yvonne has been keeping a dignified silence, refusing to publicly address the Boyzone star and air their dirty laundry.
Instead, she’s been posting about how much she enjoyed her first time presenting live tv for the Seven O’Clock show and celebrating her birthday with friends and family.
Posting a snap on Instragram, she wrote: “Just some of my lovely friends (and my mum that the kids invited over tonight for a surprise party.
“Thanks so much @jackkeating_@missyykeating @aliconnollykeating you are my world !!!!! I’ve had the best birthday surrounded by people I love. #goodtimes.”
Author and good friend of the 42-year-old, Cecilia Ahern, “I love this super-woman. Happy birthday @ConnollyYvonne X.”
Ronan announced today that he is returning to Australia to promote the Ozzie version of The Voice, as well as his new album Time of My Life.
