RTE weather woman Joanna Donnelly is trending on Twitter today, after posting about the high temperatures being recorded all around Ireland today.
Tomorrow is set to be the hottest day of the year for our fair isle, and in over a decade of working in this field, Joanna has never witnessed such high numbers on a meteorological chart.
On the social network she wrote, “I’m tweeting this as in 14 years I’ve never seen a 30 on a chart. We’re going to 28 tomorrow. @MetEireann #weather.”
It looks as if Athlone, Portlaoise, Mullingar, Thurles and Carrick-on-Shannon will be getting the best of the weather, while Dublin will be hitting an outstanding 28 degrees.
Her tweet was so widely appreciated that the weather pro is now trending in Ireland! How cool is that? Or should I say, how hot is that?!
