TV3’s Peter O’Riordan was left shocked and outraged after being robbed in Dublin City Centre recently.
The Xpose presenter was pick-pocketed in a toy shop in the city, while himself and his wife Stephanie were shopping for their two-year-old son, Ollie.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, Peter said “The feeling of being violated is just so awful when you realise that you have been robbed in what was just a split second.
”We were only at two spots in the store but when we went to the till we found that my wife’s wallet which had been in a bag on the back of the stroller was gone.”
Peter and Stephanie’s bank cards were taken, and although the episode was terrible, the father-of-one said that the owners of the shop were great and contacted the family to offer them a free toy for their son due to the upset they endured.
It’s good to hear that there are still some nice people in the world!
We hope all the O’Riordan’s are all doing okay after the event.
