Dublin GAA star Bernard brogan is set to marry his longterm love, Keira Doyle this December. The sports star popped the question while on holidays in Turkey back in January.
It seems now though that all wedding planning has been put on hold recently, due to the looming All Ireland Final which takes place this Sunday in Croke Park.
Bernard’s older brother Alan revealed that he will play groomsman for his brother on the big day, and that full wedding mode will be back in full swing following Sunday’s clash against Mayo.
Speaking to The Independent Alan said, “It would be great to have the Sam Maguire there for December.
“There hasn’t been too much about the wedding but I’m sure it will be the focus again after the weekend.”
Although 32-year-old Bernard previously revealed on 2FM that he wasn’t making any of the big decisions when it came to the wedding planning, he was helping his wife-to-be with the workload.
“I’m not making any of the decisions but I’m just trying to take some of the workload. Kiera’s leading the charge. A lot of little stuff needs to be organised. It’s a lot of work,” he said.
