So who is she?
Who is Alison Oliver?

Alison hails from Cork and has had a grá for acting for a long time.
She grew up studying acting and was a student at Trinity College’s drama school The Lir Academy, going on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting in 2020.
Where did Alison’s career begin?

Well, Alison certainly didn’t have a humble start!
She played the main character of Francis in Conversations with Friends. The RTÉ and BBC mini-series is an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s debut novel.
She starred alongside the likes of Tommy Tiernan, Sasha Lane, Joe Alwyn and Jemima Kirke in the series.
What else has she been in?

Well, if you’re a fan of the theatre, she made her London stage debut in Women, Beware the Devil at the Almeida Theatre in February 2023, and starred in Dancing at Lughnasa at the National Theatre in April 2023.
She also appeared in Saltburn, of course, marking her big-screen debut. Alison appeared in the BBC One drama miniseries Best Interests, alongside Sharon Horgan and Michael Sheen.
She also appeared in IFTA nominated film, Christy and the TV series, Task, alongside Mark Ruffalo.
