The stars were out in force for Julian Benson’s annual Winter Wonderland Gala Ball.
The night took place in the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road, Ballsbridge on Saturday night with a drinks reception, a three-course meal, incredible auction prizes, entertainment and dancing until late all in aid of the Julian Benson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and a star-studded guest list including Rosanna Davison, Dermot Bannon, Roz and Avila Lipsett, Anne Marie McManus and Elaine Crowley.
The Julian Benson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is dedicated to supporting people and their families living with Cystic Fibrosis.
The ball is charity’s major fundraiser and also a celebration of all the hard work that has been done as they are now very close to their goal of opening Ireland’s first home away from home Tranquility House in just a few short weeks. As people travel from all over Ireland for treatment in Dublin, Tranquility House will ensure families can be there to support their loved ones when in hospital, at a time when it is most vital.
On the night, funds were raised through an auction with auctioneer Tadhg Dooley. Prizes included a Kevin Sharkey painting, a 12-carat natural diamond tennis bracelet, VIP tickets to the sold-out Electric Picnic, signed Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington, Tom McKibbin and Shane Lowry memorabilia, a VIP Golf stay in Carton House and ancient east helicopter tour to name but a few!
What a fab evening!
