Carol’s collaboration includes Very’s own brand labels V by Very and Fig & Basil – ensuring that everyone can find the perfect outfit and achieve that extra sparkle this winter.
Carol says that the most important thing for her with this collection was “versatility and affordability.”
She says: “I wanted pieces that are obtainable, excellent quality, versatile and that will last you for years. Pieces you can whip out party season after party season!
“The pieces in this edit can be mixed and matched with other pieces from the collection but also with bits you already have in your own wardrobe. Sparkly season will always be in fashion, year after year, so items like the silver suit or the sequin trousers, you’ll have them for life!”
The influencer, who is best known for her occasion wear (and instantly recognisable outfit Reels), says that her own personal style depends on her mood.
“I am mainly glam but also love a classic white shirt and jeans combo,” she says. “I think any look can be elevated with the right accessories too.
“A white shirt and jeans with trainers can be understated but swap it up with heels, statement earrings, a smokey eye and clutch and you’re set for the evening!”
And what about the upcoming party season? We may have already gotten a look at Carol’s edit, but she’s got some more insights into what’s going to be big this year.
“Sequins, sequins, and more sequins! They never ever go out of style for the party wear season so a good pair of sequin trousers will take you a long way,” she says.
“You can dress them a few ways, with a white shirt, a black bustier top or an oversized blazer. Even just with a white tee can make them look very cool. Or pair with a statement earring, clutch and you’re good to go.
“I have a beautiful bustier top in the collection too which will go with everything from just jeans, a mini skirt, sequin trousers or leather look trousers. Definitely one that you’ll get your wear out of, time and time again.”
