Una Foden is less than impressed with a fellow Voice of Ireland coach, and things are set to become heated on this week’s episode of the talent competition.
While teams go head to head in the ‘Knockout’ round of the show, Mullingar man Bressie throws major shade at Una Foden about her coaching skills.
The Blizzards frontman slams Una’s song choices and accuses The Saturday’s star of favouritism.
According to Irish Independent, after a performance between Mags White and Nigel Connell, Bressie says, “It was a good arrangement of that song but it definitely suited you more, Nigel.
“It’s a male vocal really, and it’s in that particular register you can break your voice up and get raspy.
“That isn’t massively fair when a singer can’t sing in the register where they’re strongest.”
Una’s not one bit impressed with the comments, and very offended by them.
She says, “That’s a massive swipe at me to say that. I’m offended you said that because you basically said I was unfair to [Mags].
“She sang her heart out and you could hear that she’s an amazing singer.”
The show kicks off the Sunday at the slightly later time on 7pm, but we’ll certainly be tuning in to see if there are anymore fireworks!
