Niall Horan has been spending some time with his ex Ellie Goulding – straight after her reported split from another boyband star, Dougie Poynter.
The One Direction star and the ‘Love Me Like You Do’ singer previously dated, and they were all smiles as they were reunited last night.
Photographed together at the Jingle Ball in Austin, Texas, Ellie hid her heartbreak well as she beamed for the cameras.
Her and Dougie, who have been together since early 2014, are said to be “on a break” after hitting a “rough patch” in their relationship.
A source told The Mirror: “They are taking a break. Their work commitments have meant they have been spending more and more time away from each other and it has made it difficult to maintain their relationship.”
Ellie has been promoting her new album in the US, while the McFly singer has been home in England – and we doubt he would have been too happy to see the snaps from last night.
