Happy Valentine’s Day!

With the day here, it’s important to know that you don’t have to be in a romantic relationship to celebrate. Valentine’s day is the perfect excuse to show yourself some love and celebrate the relationship we have with ourselves.

Yes, take a page out of Miley Cyrus’ book – buy yourself flowers, take yourself dancing and hold your own hand!

We’ve rounded up the best ways to treat yourself this Valentine’s Day!

Take yourself on a cinema date

One way to celebrate Valentine’s is by taking yourself on a cinema date. There are lots of films to see in the Cinema right now including All of Us Strangers starring Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott, Bob Marley: One Love, Mean Girls and if you’re in the mood for a rom-com, Anyone but You.

This year luckily for you, Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday and Odeon Cinema has just started bargain Wednesdays meaning standard tickets are just €5.95, so round up your gal pals or take yourself on a solo cinema date this Wednesday.

@ODEON Cinemas have launched Bargain Wednesdays in Ireland, where you can get tickets from €5.95 upwards! The biggest and best part of this is that IMAX tickets are only €10.95 on a Wednesday now, which is almostttt half the normal price! 😍 Make sure you book your tickets online to get the best prices and note down which cinemas this is/isn’t available in! I forgot to add in the video but iSense tickets are €8.95 which is a great price for that format too! #bargain #bargainwednesdays #odeon #odeonireland #odeoncinema #cheaptickets #cinema #deal #ireland #irish #fyp #foryou #seantalksmovies

Self-Care Night

Sel care nights are the best nights– arguably even better than a night out.  Self-care is different for everyone but here are some ways to practice it for the ultimate self-care night this Wednesday.

Light a few candles and run yourself a bubble bath. Read your favourite book or watch your favourite film. Make your favourite dessert or treat yourself to a face mask. Whatever your self-care night looks like enjoy it. You deserve it after all.

Organise a Galantines Night

In the words of Leslie Knope – the queen of Galentines it’s all about “Ladies celebrating ladies”

Single or not everyone should have a galentines night. Have a movie marathon with your favourite gal pals or maybe even a paint-and-sip night. There’s nothing better for the soul than a night with your friends.

With Valentine’s Day falling on a Wednesday this year, what better way to break up the week than a mid-week takeaway? It will give you a much-needed break from cooking and give you that last push to Friday.

Light yourself a candle, put on your favourite chick flick and order your favourite takeaway to celebrate yourself.

Treat yourself to a Wishlist Purchase
