Katja Mia announced her departure from The Six O’Clock Show earlier this month.
Now people are wondering who will step into the slot alongside Brian Dowling.
Well, the favourite to join the Virgin Media family is a Today FM star.
Yes, Louise Cantillion, who has covered for Katja in the past on The Six O’Clock Show, is the clear frontrunner to take on the role. In fact, she’s even money to take on the role, according to Ladbrokes.

However, she’s not the only person who is in the running to join the show.
Fionnuala Jay, another guest presenter for the series, is high on the list at 2/1 odds.

Former 2FM presenter and Dancing with the Stars host Jennifer Zamparelli is coming in at 3/1 odds.
She previously told VIP Magazine: “There are a few things down the pipeline. I’m in the writing room. I’m taking things one step at a time, I’ve just finished Dancing with the Stars, I’ll go on holidays, do the VIP Style Awards and leave space for things that are coming in. It’s been lovely to manage my time and do things that way.”

Tracy Clifford, who will be stepping away from her weekday 2FM show after a decade also has 3/1 odds to step into the role. She is currently covering for Brian as he takes some time off.

Former Ireland AM presenter Síomha Ní Ruairc’s name has also been popping up on the bookies odds, coming in at 5/1.

Darren Kennedy, who also has stepped in for cover on the show, is currently 4/1 to take over.

Well, watch this space.
