This week’s Late Late Show will certainly keep viewers engaged. There will be an interview with Bernard Lucas, husband of Caitríona Lucas who tragically lost her life at sea, fashion designer Brendan Courtney will discuss caring for his ill father, the D’Unbelievables will be stopping by for a laugh, and Amanda Brunker will be getting botox live on air.

Mum-of-two Caitríona was the first member of the Irish Coast Guard to lose their life during a rescue mission. Her family will be in studio to talk to Ryan about the devastating impact of her death and to pay tribute to her. The work of the Irish Coast Guard and the RNLI will also be celebrated.

Brendan Courtney will be discussing a heart wrenching topic, affecting a lot of families in Ireland.

Fashion designer Brendan Courtney will be sharing his family’s story as they tried to decide how to care for their father Frank, after he suffered a stroke. Brendan wants to shed light on the heartbreaking choice facing many families all over Ireland today.

Ryan will also be chatting to D’Unbelievables comedian Jon Kenny, and Glenroe actress Mary McEvoy as they prepare to take to the Gaiety stage with John B Keane’s The Successful TD.

Former Miss Ireland Amanda Brunker will be getting botox live in studio (yes, you read that right!), and a member of the audience will undergo a lip filler treatment. A doctor will be on hand to perform the procedures, and discuss the rise of plastic surgery.

The bright minds of the BT Young Scientist will also be stopping by, and there will be music from Eddi Reader, Jack Lukeman and Lisa Canny.

You can catch all of this on The Late Late Show, this Friday at 9:35pm on RTE One.
