The World Cup is almost upon us – in fact, it kicks off this week.
July 20 will see the beginning of the eagerly anticipated tournament, which will see the Irish squad take on Australia, Canada, and Nigeria in the group stage.
Vera Pauw named her 23-strong squad last week. This is the first time that the Girls in Green have played a major tournament like the World Cup, and it’s safe to say that the whole country is behind them.
The team will play three fixtures this month – but if you’ve yet to make your plans to dive into each match and show your support, never fear.
We’ve got all the key dates you need so far to ensure you don’t miss a thing in this year’s World Cup.
