This is not a drill! The Love Island start date has finally been revealed

This is not a drill Love Island fans! The hotly anticipated new season of the reality TV show is going ahead this year, and the air date has finally been confirmed.

Virgin Media One have revealed that Irish viewers can watch the show when it airs on Monday 28th of June at it’s usual time of 9pm.

Eagle eyed fans were convinced the show had begun filming last week when narrator, Iain Stirling shared a snap of two of the iconic Love Island water bottles to Instagram. One of the bottles was emblazoned with his name and the other his wife, and show host, Laura Whitmore’s.

The picture sparked speculation that perhaps Iain and Laura had already touched down in Majorca, Spain to begin filming. The sunny skies and palm trees in the background also help with this theory as well as his caption; “Not long now…”

Only a couple of weeks ago Bray native, Laura Whitmore shared the first promo video for the show. The presenter looked stunning as always in a bright red jumpsuit as she posted the snaps and videos on social media.

Sharing to Instagram she said; “This is not a drill” and “You ready?”
