Apple Music has revealed the Top 100 most-streamed songs of 2021, and one Irish artist, in particular, is rising ahead with two songs coming in at number three and number six.
None other than Dermot Kennedy has entered the Top 100 most-streamed songs in Ireland of 2021 with his hits Giants and Paradise.
Irish DJ Shane Codd was another Irish artist who made the Top 100, with piano house anthem Get Out My Head coming in at number 20.
This comes after Dermot Kennedy announced two huge gigs in Dublin for this month, with all proceeds will go to a good cause. Sharing why his chosen charities mean a lot to him, Dermot revealed:
“I’m so grateful to be playing two shows in Dublin this December in aid of Pieta and Focus Ireland, two incredible charities.”
Continuing, he added: “Suicide and homelessness are two issues that are sadly so prevalent in Ireland today.
“There are so many people that badly need our help, especially at this time of year. Please think of them and let’s come together and raise as much money as we can for these extremely important causes.”
