The VIP List: Here’s what team VIP is loving this week

We’re into December, which means that we’re enjoying all the festive treats that are on offer.

Of course, it’s not all play and no work. We’re working very hard to get our December issue to you…keep an eye out for it on shelves very, very soon!

So what has team VIP been loving recently?

Deputy Editor Michelle is loving…Christmas in the Courtyard

Last week I was invited to experience Christmas in the Courtyard, and wow, what an experience it was!!

The Royal Hospital Kilmainham has been transformed into a winter wonderland, with an elaborate glass venue taking over the yard. Inside, it’s adorned with incredible chandeliers and the biggest Christmas trees you can imagine – just beautiful!

It’s a fine dining experience, with Michelin star chef Dani Barry at the helm and a host of musical guests performing throughout the night. Over the next few weeks, there’ll be set events, including the Art of Dining, as I attended, as well as Bingo Loco, a night hosted by Pippa O’Connor and a Queen Tribute Band too!

The perfect pre-Christmas night out to celebrate with loved ones. It’s not to be missed, check it out here!

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…Skin Theory Mango Peel from Therapie

Everyone deserves a little pampering every now and then. Especially coming up to the festive period, everyone wants to look their best. So I was delighted when I got invited to enjoy a facial at Therapie this week.

There’s a whole slew of treatments to go for including their new HArmonyCA Filler, the first hybrid injectable treatment. But as someone deathly afraid of needles, I decided to go for a Mango Peel. It was my first time getting a facial peel but it was such a pleasant experience.

And the results were instantly visible. As soon as I finished up my face was much smoother and softer, I was literally glowing. I will definitely be booking in again in the new year! You can book your treatment here.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Serum

I’m a winter girl through and through – cosy evenings in, an endless supply of hot chocolate and who can forget about the warm twinkling lights? Sadly, my skin, however, doesn’t agree with me. It craves hydration this time of year and thanks to the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Concentrated Serum, it gets it! Quite literally a powerhouse of hydrating ingredients, it’s brimming with hyaluronic acid, pro-Vitamin B5 and glycerin. It’s also super lightweight on the skin, making it perfect for that sought-after glowy finish. Fragrance-free, it’s suitable for all skin types, including those with super sensitive skin. Score!

After washing my face as normal, I massage 3-4 drops onto the skin the morning and evening before I apply my moisturiser. This way I’m left with super smooth skin that feels instantly quenched. Honestly, this has been my winter live-saver! It’s available now in independent pharmacies nationwide.
