The weather may be pretty miserable but we have plenty of reasons to rejoice this week.
Our March issue landed on shelves this week and you can have a sneak peek of what is inside here.
While we’re hiding from the snow by the fire, here’s what we’ve been loving.
Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…Daisy Jones and the Six
I am obsessed with Daisy Jones and the Six. Obsessed.
I read the book back in 2020 and was immediately enthralled by the tale of a fictional band in the seventies. The band is a tangled web of relationships, romances, cheating and addiction. You’ll be sucked in immediately.
I have waited three years to hear the music of Daisy Jones and the Six brought to life in the new Prime Video mini-series. The series is currently airing and I was lucky enough to get to watch all 10 episodes. My review – pitch perfect, every step of the way.
The story has strayed from the book in the best way. And the cast? Pure perfection, Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse and Camila Morrone are my new favourite people.
I have the record on repeat, I am rewatching the show and I just finished my re-read of the book. Oh, and I will be on the hunt for merch that is making its way into bookshops very soon.
Weekend editor Sláine is loving…Réaltaí na Gaeltachta
So I’m far from great at Irish but I have a lot of respect for it so Réaltaí na Gaeltachta is definitely up my street. The show follows five celebs as they head to the Gaeltacht, and brush up on their Irish.
With Broadcaster Des Cahill, writer Amanda Brunker, comedian Fred Cooke, Mayo footballer Oisín Mullin and Tiktok star Lauren Whelan taking part.
There’s craic agus ceol galore, and it’s fastly becoming one of my favourite reality shows (sorry Love Island).
The series airs on Tuesdays 7.00pm on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Staff Writer Anja is loving…Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream from Dermalogica
