The VIP List: Here’s what the team is loving this week

What a week! We’ve been all enjoying the sun here in VIP HQ but aside from soaking up the rays, we’ve had a busy few days.

Here’s what we’ve been loving this week.

Staff Editor Michelle Dardis is loving…Benefit

Earlier this week, myself and Dep Ed Niamh were invited to a gorgeous lunch in MamaYo on Camden Street with our fave brow brand, Benefit. Launching their gorgeous new product, Gimmie Brow + Volumizing Pencil, we got to try out the new hero product and already know it’s going to be a beauty bag staple! With tiny fibres, it adds texture and a natural fullness to the brows through precision application and doesn’t budge all day! What more could you want?

Most importantly though, the team in Benefit spoke to us about how this month they’re doing a massive drive to raise money for two charities; Daisy House which supports homeless women and Look Good Feel Better, which helps build the confidence of anyone going through cancer treatment. Throughout the month, €5 from any Benefit brow wax will go towards the charities, plus you can scan a QR code in-store to donate. Two incredibly worthy causes which we should all get behind!

Digital Editor Bronwyn O’Neill is loving… F&F’s Summer Range

Summer is not my season, I’m an autumn girlie. My wardrobe is filled with autumn weather fits, so I struggle to find something to wear when the sun is high in the sky. So thankfully when I spotted the new Summer Range from F&F at Tescos I was hooked.

Each piece is perfect to keep you cool and in style during these hot days and they won’t break the bank! So it’s a win for everyone! Prices range from €28 to €38, find out more details here.

Deputy Ed Niamh enjoyed…a day out at Dundrum’s Edvard & Pink
Last weekend, I made my way over to Dundrum Town Centre, but not to shop — I was there to enjoy the ultimate spa day at Edvard & Pink, located on the shopping centre’s top floors. It’s hard to believe, with all the hustle and bustle of the shoppers below, but once you step inside the spa, you feel enveloped in an oasis of quiet calm. With panoramic views of the Dublin Mountains, it’s a beautiful space to sit back and be pampered, whether you opt for a gorgeous Margaret Dabbs pedicure or manicure (pictured here with colourful CND polish!), or a treatment.
I went for a Skeyndor facial, a Spanish, science-led skincare brand fully stocked by the salon. If you’re looking for a super relaxing treatment with instant results, go for a brightening Dermapeel Pro treatment — there’s no downtime or discomfort and your skin will be left gleaming and glowy. Spa therapist Shauna also expertly coaxed out any knots I had with the most incredible neck, back and shoulder massage — I physically felt all the tension and stress leave my body and I floated out, feeling brand new. If you’re going for a day out at the shops, I can’t recommend booking in for some well-deserved me-time. Click to find out more edvardandpink.ie!

Weekend editor Sláine McKenna is loving… Slazenger x Sofia Richie

In total honesty, I’m really not the biggest fan of athleisure. Don’t get me wrong, there are brands that I think are to-die for, but modern sportswear trends feature tons of patterns and colours, which I find really hard to style unless it’s a matching set.

For actual gym goers with loads of workout gear this isn’t going to be a problem, but my workout routine (if you can even call it that) involves some YouTube yoga, and maybe a walk. So I don’t really have a large enough supply of athleisure attire to make it work. But that’s why I’m loving Sofia Richie’s collab with Slazenger.

It’s extremely versatile featuring pieces like skorts, skirts, crop tops, dresses, vests and shorts, as well as all-season favourites like sweatshirts and joggers, and all following a beautiful deep pastel colour scheme…literally heaven. Plus they have tennis wear!

Do I play tennis? Nope. Do I adore tennis attire? Absolutely!

The collection tends to follow 90’s trends for their aesthetic, with a mix of prep and sleek streetwear. I strong believe 90’s and early 2000’s workout gear are the best athleisure has to offer, so I’m in love.
