The sun is shining, the birds are singing and we here VIP HQ are loving life.
Yes, what isn’t there to love when the sun is literally splitting the rocks?
And here’s what we’ve been loving!
Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…yoga
I’ve become a fully-fledged yoga lover this year.
And I was so excited when I heard about The Yoga Picnic, a festival that takes place in Westmeath that is all about yoga, wellness and relaxing.
There will of course be plenty of yoga classes happening throughout the day on July 7th. There will also be a beautiful Cacao Ceremony, a dedicated outdoor spa area featuring two woodfired sauna, five ice baths and one woodfired outdoor hot tub, with a European Sauna Master delivering salt healing sessions and whisking sessions in the sauna as well as food demonstrations and talks.
You can grab your tickets here.
Head of Digital Jade is loving…a tasty, city jaunt
Not as info-heavy as a standard bus tour, and a whole lot more satisfying (thank you, cake), the trip was an adorable way to spend an afternoon. Would recommend.
Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…ice-cream for good
Who doesn’t love ice-cream? And ice-cream for a good cause is even better!
Down Syndrome Ireland’s Ice Cream Fundays are back. Ice Cream Fundays, which raised vital funds to support people with Down syndrome for 20 years, took a break in 2021, but returns in an expanded format for 2024.
TV chef and Instagram sensation Gina Daly has joined forces with Down Syndrome Ireland to celebrate.
The Daily Dish author said: “My son Gene is two and a half, and he has Down syndrome. Over the last two and a half years it’s been a very new journey for us. Being involved with the Down syndrome community has been absolutely amazing. There is so much information available, and it provides a lovely community and safe space for parents who are navigating the journey and finding their way with their little one.”
Down Syndrome Ireland is asking supporters to get involved by hosting their own Fundays parties – register here or visit downsyndrome.ie.
Staff Writer Anja is loving…hair gummies
I don’t know about you, but my hair has felt seriously dry after the winter months. While I do my best not to put heat on my hair and keep it as healthy as possible, I thought it was time to try something new. That’s when I came across Voduz’s Hair Therapy hair gummies. Formulated with ingredients that are key for optimal hair health, Biotin and Zinc, these heart-shaped wonders are the ultimate treat for your tresses.
Each little dose of Hair Therapy is vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free, boasting natural colours and flavourings. Plus, with a 30-day supply in each packet, you can pamper your locks with love every single day. This was my first time trying out hair gummies, so I was a little bit sceptical at first, but I can now say that my hair has genuinely never looked better or felt softer.
P.S. With a juicy orange-zest flavour, the gummies genuinely feel like I’m reaching for a treat every time I take one! Check them out over here.
Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…oat milk
I’m a big dairy lover!
But sometimes I want to mix things up with some oat or almond milk. And I absolutely love Califia Farms for their selection of plant-based milks.
For a week, the plant-based, natural beverage company will offer 100 free Califia Farms coffees at a different partner cafe nationwide each day, including Hatch (Glasthule & Blackrock, Dublin), Neighborhood (Belfast), Roots (Drury St, Dublin), Fetch (Clonmel, Tipperary), Network (Aungier St, Dublin), SOMA (Tuckey St, Cork), and Scéal Bakery (Greystones, Wicklow).
