Bronwyn is loving…superhero flicks
I think it’s safe to say that we were getting bored with superhero films. Or maybe that’s just me!
But Superman is the most iconic superhero, well, ever! And I was really excited to see the new film as I’m a big fan of the cast. Who doesn’t love David Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult and Rachel Brosnahan?!
And I absolutely loved it! If you’re a fan of the 1980s films with Christopher Reeves you are going to love this new Superman film. And if you loved Smallville you are also in for a treat.

Rebecca is loving…being safely sunkissed
I have typical pasty Irish skin that just never tans, so of course, I am fake tan obsessed!

There is nothing better than a good book. Well, no that’s not true. There’s nothing better than a good Irish book. The Emerald Isle is the birthplace to hundreds of incredible authors going back centuries.
And one thing we know how to do is write romance.
A new exhibition at the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is standing up for Irish romance fiction.
Happy Ever After is an energetic celebration of a much-loved, but often maligned genre of writing. Whether it’s first love or a second chance romance, the exhibition will prompt you to fall in love with Irish romance fiction all over again.
For centuries, romance fiction by Irish writers from Lady Morgan to Marian Keyes has told the story of characters in love. Yet romance remains a target for public condemnation and critical contempt, in part because these popular novels have been written largely by and for women – MoLI hopes that this exhibition is about to change perspectives, as it explores the genre’s forgotten history.
