The video for Ed Sheeran’s Galway Girl has been released and we absolutely love it. It was recorded at a pub in Salthill last month and Saoirse Ronan stars as the Galway girl that stole Ed’s heart.
She meets the singer in a pub where they dance around, drink Guinness and have the craic. They then go out into the town and meet Irish dancers and take selfies with fans.
Although we don’t see the Shape Of You singer until the very end of the vid, a number of popular Irish faces can be spotted, including Tommy Tiernan, Hector Ó hEochagáin, and Love/Hate’s Peter Coonan and Laurence Kinlan (aka Fran and Elmo).
Galway Girl is the third track to be released from Ed’s latest album, Divide.
