
Where has the time gone?
Virgin Media Television’s The Six O’Clock Show marked its 10th anniversary on air this week.
Brian Dowling and Katja Mia are at the helm of the show and celebrated the anniversary on Monday with a special show.
For the special event, they were joined by none other than Daniel O’Donnell and Mario Rosenstock. Later in the show Dancing with the Stars contestant and comedian, Gearóid Farrelly chatted to the duo.

Actor Norma Sheahan, singer Paul Byrom and wildlife expert Dr Éanna Ní Lamhna all joined the show for the momentous occassion.
Speaking at the celebrations Katja Mia said: “It’s incredibly exciting to celebrate The Six O’Clock Show’s 10th anniversary on air today. I feel so privileged to work alongside Brian and the rest of the team to bring our viewers the top stories, most entertaining guests and best recipes each and every weeknight.”

While Brian added: “What an amazing feat that The Six O’Clock show has been entertaining and informing Ireland for a decade now. I love adding a bit of glamour to a weekday evening alongside Katja on the couch, chatting to some of the biggest stars, cooking up a storm in the kitchen and having a good few laughs along the way. Here’s to another 10!”
Speaking about the show’s decade on air, Virgin Media Television’s Director of Programming, Anthony Nilan, said: “We’re incredibly proud that The Six O’Clock Show is celebrating this significant milestone. For 10 years the show has been entertaining viewers every evening and has been an important platform for new and emerging talent across the entertainment industry. Brian and Katja bring a lot of fun to our evenings, and it’s great to see the show go from strength to strength.”
