The Script have paid a touching tribute to their late bandmate Mark Sheehan on the second anniversary of his passing.
Mark, the band’s lead guitarist, passed away in hospital in two years ago after a short illness, at the age of 46.
Now, his bandmates, Danny and Glen, have taken to social media once again to honour his memory.
“Can’t believe it’s been two years,” the post began.

“Feels like yesterday we were in the studio working on the next tune.
“Your impact on this world will never be forgotten. And with each year, your legend only grows further.
“We’ll continue on what you started. Miss you brother,” the statement added.
“Love and prayers to everyone who’s missing this man a little more than normal today.”

Shortly after his passing, Glen, who is the band’s drummer, told The Sunday World: “It’s such a devastating loss for us, his family and everyone close.
“We had a connection that’s very rare. We spent more time together than any couple.
“We are in shock, there are no words.”
As the band continues to move forward, it’s clear that Mark’s legacy remains firmly at the heart of everything they do.
