Blu Hydrangea received two 10s from the judges as well as a nine for their emotional Vienesse Waltz.
This meant they received a score of 29 – which is the highest in the series so far.
Opting for a pared-back routine, we saw Josh take to the floor for the first time.
Throughout the song, their drag was removed until they stood in front in of the judges fresh-faced.
“This was raw story-telling and you really did bare your soul,” Loraine Barry told them. “When you took off that mask and wiped your lipstick, that was Josh there.”
The RuPaul’s Drag Race champion admitted that after seeing everyone getting emotional last week, they wanted the chance this week. They opted to show that they wanted to show their vulnerable side as they explained how they’re not comfortable performing out of drag as Josh.
They were left speechless when they received two 10s from Loraine and Arthur Gourounlian and a nine from Brian Redmond.
