The new issue of VIP Magazine is here, and how beautiful does our cover star, Kathryn Thomas look?
The presenter, who is already mum to little Ellie, is expecting her second child with husband Padraig McLoughlin, and she is simply glowing. After spending the day in Carton House for this exclusive shoot, we spoke about her pregnancy journey, relatable struggles of the past year and the exciting new season of her RTÉ show No Place Like Home…
We also had an afternoon we won’t forget in a hurry, as we met the wonderful Anne Cassin, who is the best kind of company.
Full of laughter and chat, we discuss plenty with the Nationwide star, from her ordinary life behind the cameras to finding love in the newsroom with her husband!
After bagging their dream home, Ryan Andrews and his partner Michaela O’Neill invited VIP inside for an exclusive first look around their new abode – and all we can say is: wow!
Afterwards, we spoke about their story of being childhood sweethearts, their mutual love for the performing arts, and their hopeful plans to start a family.
VIP recently enjoyed a gorgeous day in Longford with the town’s new Lord Mayor, Uruemu Adejinmi, alongside her husband and their three children.
Uruemu is the first black woman, and first African-Irish woman, to be elected to a mayoral position in Ireland and her story is truly inspiring. She’s a hard-working, humble woman who is set to go far and achieve great things.
We also had the pleasure of chatting to renowned swimmer Ellen Keane before she represents Ireland at the Paralympics in Tokyo this month. What a woman!
Of course we’ve also got you covered with our best in beauty news, fashion and parenting too.
As if all that wasn’t enough, we’ve included a gorgeous new supplement, VIP FOOD, which comes free inside the current issue of VIP Magazine.
Our cover star Catherine Fulvio is a stalwart of the Irish food scenes thanks to several cookbooks and her own RTE show, while chef and food writer Lilly Higgins is also beloved by Irish audiences thanks to her wealth of knowledge and gorgeous recipes.
For many of us, summer is synonymous with food and never more so than this year of eating out outdoors, barbecuing in good weather and supporting Irish and local post-pandemic.
We decided to focus on women in Irish food for this supplement having watched so many small foodie businesses boom online during the pandemic. Some already established and adapting, some rising from the ashes of businesses destroyed by the coronavirus, all run by impressive young women with a bright future!
