Storm and Ronan Keating have had quite the year.

It’s understandable that they chose to take a step back from the limelight, following heartbreak including Ronan’s brother Ciarán’s brother tragic passing and Storm’s major spinal surgery.

Ronan confirmed earlier this year that he would be finishing up with Magic FM after seven years with the radio station. He also confirmed that he had stepped away from his hosting duties at BBC’s The One Show.

Now the couple have taken their two children to Storm’s native Australia.

And they are truly living the dream.

Life Down Under suits them as Storm shared some fabulous snaps of the family of four enjoying the spring sunshine in Oz.

The photos show the family enjoying days out at the beach as well as snaps of Cooper and Coco with their grandparents.

“Doesn’t get any better,” Storm wrote alongside an Australian flag emoji.

They also got up close and personal with some Aussie animals like kangaroos as well as spending a day on a boat soaking up the sun.

We’re not jealous at all!

Earlier this year, Ronan Keating raised concern when he shared a cryptic message about his wife Storm.

He spoke about the “challenge” she would be facing.

He shared a picture of his new tattoo which was dedicated to his wife.

He wrote: “For you my warrior today and every day, my Stormy. A challenge ahead but your strength blows my mind. With you every step. Love you baby.”

He later explained that Storm recently had to have surgery connected to a spine injury. She previously had emergency surgery performed for a prolapsed disc in 2021.

Storm was actually diagnosed with cauda equina syndrome, an injury which causes the nerve roots in her lower back to become compressed. In some cases, it can lead to paralysis.

Speaking to RSVP, he said: “Storm is a superstar and a powerhouse. She went through surgery which was related to the spine surgery she had three years ago. It was connected to that.

“She had a six-week recovery. She is incredible. She was walking the next day, which blew my mind.”

They certainly enjoy some time away.
