Ireland doesn’t have too many sporting stars they have truly dominated the world stage, but golfer Padraig Harrington is definitely one. The 44-year-old Irishman staged something of a comeback by winning the Honda Classic last year, his first big trophy for seven years. In the past, however, Padraig has bagged three major wins – the British Open in 2007 and 2008, and the US PGA Tournament in 2008 as well.
Not only is Padraig the special guest of Ryan on Friday’s show, a recorded segment will show Ryan hanging out with the golfer in his home, playing pool and pinball, and having a go on Padraig’s golf simulator. The results of that are something that’s not to be missed!!
Also joining Ryan will be triumphant Healy-Rae brothers, Michael and Danny, who became the first brothers to ever win seats in the same sitting of the Dail, when they were both elected in the Kerry constituency last week. Along with them will be beautiful actress Aoibhín Garrihy – star of The Fall – and Laurence Kinlan of Love/Hate fame, who will talk about their recent stage appearance in Breaking Dad.
And to round off the show, a gay couple who had triplets through surrogacy 15 years ago will share their story for the first time, while Property guru Jasmine Harman will talk about her mum’s unusual hoarding disease, the subject of the documentary ‘My Hoarder Mum and M’.
So don’t miss Friday’s Late Late- it’s nothing if not varied!!
