Nadia Forde has shared a touching tribute to her rugby player husband, Dominic Day, as he retires from the game.
The 34-year-old’s career spanned over 15 years, making his debut for Scarlett’s back in 2006, and has enjoyed huge success with English team Saracens over the past two years.
Now, Nadia has shared a sweet message of support to her love as he makes the big move in his career.
“This guy has officially hung up his boots! So proud of you my love,” Nadia captioned the sweet family photos.
“Your Rugby journey has brought us around the world, created amazing memories and formed lifelong friendships.
“Myself and W will always be on the sideline cheering you on in everything you do.”
Dom also took to Instagram to reflect on his years playing rugby with Wales and numerous different clubs, and thanked his lovely wife for her support.
“After 15 years it’s finally time to hang up the boots. I have been lucky enough to have achieved more than I ever expected.,” he shared.
“I have played with some of the best in the world and I’m even luckier to have made some of the best and most loyal friends I could have hoped for.
“I want to thank my wonderful wife who has given up so much to follow me across the world and back.”
Dominic and Nadia welcomed their first child, the adorable Wyatt last year, before tying the knot in a romantic ceremony in Italy earlier this summer.
Best of luck to Dominic for his future!
