Have you been missing Lou Lou on this series of the X Factor? Well, fear not because he’s making a return to the show!
However, there is a slight twist – the former judge won his place back on the singing contest for one by paying a whopping €20K at a charity auction at the Music Industry Trust Awards. He must really miss it too!
But, unfortunately, he won’t actually feature on the live shows, as the prize only allows him to join the show during rehearsals and act as a judge for the dress rehearsal.
Apparently Simon Cowell was shocked at Louis’ outrageous bid, but he stood up and laughed at his old pal’s move.
The 63-year-old was replaced by radio DJ Nick Grimshaw for the first time in 11 years, and he has admitted that he watches the show in his PJs at home.
Speaking previously on returning to the panel, he cheekily said: “Oh I don’t know, I’m keeping an eye on it. I love Louisa and I love Che. They’re the two people I love.”
And of course, he offered some advice to frenemy Simon: “You’ve made too many changes. Listen to the public. He has to listen to the public – he will for next year.”
