While she may have only started her new job at Saturday AM, Lisa Cannon has already set her sights on another career – well, sort of.
The presenter has revealed that her dream is become a rockstar, and it’s something she’d willing to pursue over the coming weeks.
Lisa is ready to try something totally different alongside working on the breakfast show, and hopes to learn how to play the drums.
While on Today FM speaking to Anton Savage, the TV3 star said, “We’re possibly going to put me in a scenario where I’ll be learning the drums for eight weeks and put into a rock band, as that’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”
Meanwhile, Lisa, who bid an emotional farewell to Xpose last month, revealed that while she loved her time on the entertainment show, it was definitely time to move onto something different in her career.
“I’m just thrilled that I’ve had 10 years on Xpose and I really enjoyed every second of it. I’m going to be pigeon-holed into being entertainment all the time.
“I can do it with my eyes closed, but now I need to focus on aspects that are a little bit more serious,” she said.
