Kin is one of RTÉ’s most popular series, and viewers have been hotly anticipating the conclusion to season two.
Fans will have to wait until to at 9.30pm on RTÉ One, however, we do have some insights into what to expect from the explosive crime drama.
Sam Keeley who plays Eric ‘Viking’ Kinsella on the show says viewers are in store for “choas” in tonight’s episode.
It seems the Kinsella family will be united against their common enemy, with Sam explaining: “I think what’s interesting is we’ve seen this villain enter the family and that ultimately- ironically- becomes the thing that makes everybody re-evaluate and assess and come together.”
“You’re gonna see a little bit of the family coming together and trying to solve a problem that’s right in front of them, and that’s always exciting.”

Last weeks penultimate episode saw Viking re-evaluating his relationship with Uncle Bren, with Sam confessing that it wasn’t a good desision on Eric’s part to ally with him.
“I daresay, I think if Eric knew the details of Bren as a character and what he gets up to and his true intentions around somethings, I daresay he’d have a second opinion as to how close he gets to him,” he explained.
Sharing Eric motivation for aligning himself with his uncle, the Offaly native said: “At the start, it’s a no-brainer for Viking. This is what the family needs — new energy; put Amanda in the backseat, let’s move forward that way.”
Kin’s season two finale will be available 9.30pm on RTÉ One.
