Ryan Tubridy will be taking a step back from his Virgin Media Radio show in the UK for the next few days.
But he won’t be sitting on his laurels by any means.
He took to social media to reveal that he had “some big news coming”.
“I am taking a few days off so I just wanted to let you know to keep an eye on all things Instagram next week, towards the end of the week to be precise,” he said in a video he posted to Instagram.

“I’ve got some big news coming, podcast-wise. So until then, mind yourself, have a few days off and I’ll talk to you Thursday/Friday.
He captioned the video: “We’re on a break! Stand by for podcast news late next week. Talk to you then.”
He added a radio and book emoji alongside the caption, hinting at what we can expect from his podcast.
Earlier this month, he teased that he would be launching a podcast about literature that would be for everyone.
“I have some very good news about a book podcast that I’ve been working on that is coming to fruition very soon so stay tuned.
“Not just for book lovers but for people who are interested in stories in life through the prism of beautiful books,” he said.
So it looks like we’ll be getting the podcast or at least a look at it this week! How exciting.
