Ryan Tubridy has touched down on Irish soil.
You can take the man out of Ireland but you’ll never take Ireland out of the man!
At the start of the year, he relocated to the UK as he took a new job in Virgin Radio over in London.
His show is also aired on Q102 for us to listen to here in Ireland.
He has returned to Dublin for the weekend it would seem.
Ryan shared a video of him out running in the capital with the caption: “Swapping London for Dublin this morning.”
To really channel the mood he added Louis Armstrong’s Isn’t This A Lovely Day to the video.
Ryan took up running last year after he decided to take part in Operation Transformation’s annual 5k run around Phoenix Park.
And he took things very seriously as he even had Irish Olympic boxer Kellie Harrington training him!
Clearly his love for running has continued over a year later!
It comes after he revealed that he was launching his very own podcast that was all about books.
He took to Instagram to share the news, saying: “I’m Ryan Tubridy and, you’ve guessed it, I’ve got a podcast.
“And it’s about, you’ve guessed it, books, of course. It’s called ‘The Book Shelf with Ryan Tubridy’. It had to. It was obvious! But what’s it about?
“The guest comes along with three books from their very own bookshelf, the book from their childhood, the book that made them cry and the book that changed their life. And over the course of the conversation we have a chat about the people and their lives through the prism of these three, beautiful, important books.”
