“I’ll be back here next week for my last ever Late Late Show. I’m looking forward to a night of celebration and fun with great people and the session to end all sessions,” he explained at the end of his penultimate Late Late.

While he hasn’t revealed who will be joining him for his last-ever show, he did tease a Toy Show reunion.

“We’re also going to have a Toy Show reunion, some of the youngsters, to see how tall they are now. It’s going to be lovely,” he revealed.

“So you’re all invited to join the party. Won’t you come along for one more for the road? Thanks for watching and take care. We’re nearly there. Goodnight.”
