Roy Keane has shared the sad news that his beloved dog has passed away.
The dog lover announced the sad news on social media with snaps of himself with his furry companion.
The soccer star included pictures of their dog Jet with his grandchildren in sweet moments.
He captioned the pictures: “Thanks Jet for being so beautiful and loyal to our family. We will miss you.”
He was met with several comments from his friends sharing their condolences.

“The last picture is amazing… Sorry for your loss Roy,” David Beckham wrote.
Actress Cathy Belton commented: “Deepest condolences. What a beautiful, gentle , loyal boy.”
And footballer Gary Neville left a red love heart emoji.
Dog Trust, the charity that Roy has worked with over the years, also left a comment helping him with his grief.
“We are so sorry for your loss Roy. Thinking of you and your family at this really sad time. We have some resources on our website which you may find useful: DogsTrust.ie/grief,” they wrote.

Roy’s dog, Jet, has been a total companion for years and even featured in the sports star’s first Instagram post in 2021.
He also featured in several ads for Adidas’ Spezial collection campaign.
