Rosie Connolly was one of Ireland’s original influencers.
But her followers have noticed that she has taken a step back from social media.
She opened up about her decision to be less online in a Q&A.
The 4th Arq entrepreneur thanked her followers who were wondering if she was okay.
“Lots of questions like these! Thank you. I am fantastic if I’m being super honest! Life is so full and happy right now!
“I think anyone that’s followed me for a long time knows that usually when I was quiet online it was because I wasn’t feeling great or was having a hard time but I think my approach to SM [social media] has changed a lot!
“I’m definitely learning to enjoy moments more without my phone or the pressure to post online. And it’s bringing me a lot of happiness that I didn’t know existed. I’ve broken the habit of feeling always ‘online’ and it’s very liberating.”
She went on to say: “I still love and consume content daily but my personal approach to how I manage it within my life has changed!

“Overall I’m just feeling so grateful, happy and content with the life I have right now and the people in it so want to enjoy that as much as possible.”
She continued: “Definitely not done with my social media side of work but I guess I’m just at a very different phase of my career where my time is needed more behind the scenes with @4tharq and so naturally I’ve had less time to share online.
“I don’t share much of that side of life but it’s ALOT, and there’s so many moving parts to it, a lot of which would most likely be boring to watch on social media so hence why I just keep my head down and work hard on the business, away from social media!
“I do admire founders like @aimeesmalex and @gracebeverley who really find a balance between running their business and sharing it all on socials at the same time!”
