Rosanna Davison took a trip down memory lane this week as she recalled the moment that she learned she was going to be a mother.
Rosanna and her husband Wes Quirke opted to welcome their first child via surrogate after dealing with infertility for many years.
However, the joy she felt when she learned that their surrogate was pregnant was unmatched.
To mark the four-year anniversary of the news, she shared the email she received over the weekend.
“As you know today Nastya had HCG test and I’m so happy to bring this wonderful news to you and to let you know that the test result is positive!!“ the email read.
Rosanna wrote: “What a day.
“It was such early days that we really couldn’t let ourselves get excited. But it was another hugely positive step in our surrogacy journey, and of course everything worked out.“
Rosanna and Wes are the proud parents to three-year-old Sophia as well as two-year-old twin boys Oscar and Hugo.
The model has always been honest with her parenting and her journey to motherhood.
She recently confessed that she can feel a bit “lost in motherhood“.
“I struggle a bit with feeling lost in motherhood. Being a mum is my favourite thing in the world. But something that I was determined to avoid when I became a mum was losing my own self-identity or forgetting who I used to be,“ she told her Instagram followers.
She admitted that at times she has “almost forgotten“ who she used to be, however, she added that she “much prefers“ the person she is now.
