Suzanne Jackson shared with VIP Magazine last year how Dancing with the Stars gave her a whole new outlook on life.
We saw the new Suzanne after she left the show.
And Rosanna Davison has confirmed that it was definitely a life-changing experience for her as well.
“In terms of self-confidence I would think so,” she tells VIP Magazine about how life-changing the experience was for her as we chat at the Platinum VIP Style Awards launch.
“I went in there not knowing if I could dance, I had zero experience. I just told myself that I would just take it week by week and see how far I could push myself out of my comfort zone.
“I just wanted to do something completely different at this stage of my life. I was really proud of how much I could push myself. It was a great personal learning and growth experience. That’s what I went into it for and that’s what I got out of it.”
She goes on to say: “It was one of the best experiences I had. I had the experience of a lifetime.”
“But I felt like I was neglecting family life, so it was the perfect time to go. It was so much fun. I loved doing those fun dances and getting into character. I loved the characterisation part, if my dance was all just cartwheels and lifts it would have been perfect!”
Of course, now Rosanna is back to her regular schedule now, including school runs and minding three little ones.
“I’ve thrown myself back into work. A lot of my work commitments I’ve had to put off because of Dancing with the Stars, so I’m busy,” she tells us.
“It was lovely to have danced my way through the winter months. And now spring is here. Then it’s the Easter holidays so we’re looking forward to spending time with the kids when they’re out of school.”
