With the release of her cookbook, Eat Yourself Beautiful, fast approaching Rosanna Davidson has spoken about the possibility of changing her own last name for her husband’s.
The former Miss World married Wes Quirke a year ago and the couple recently celebrated their wedding anniversary in the Seychelles.
Speaking to Evoke.ie Rosanna expressed concerns about changing her surname before her book came out, in order to avoid confusion.
“My book is out in a few weeks so just didn’t want to add any confusion. But I may change my name after that,” she said.
The letting go of the household name could mean the development of her role as an author.
Her new role may also be one of a mother, if her parents Chris De Burgh and wife Diane, are to have their way.
According to the model, her Dad has been dropping hints that he wants a grandchild and that she should put her career on hold for the moment: “[Dad] isn’t even subtle anymore, he’s just like ‘stop working’.”
Wes is keen to start a family also, as he has three siblings himself and wants to have a big family with Rosanna.
“I would have popped out four at this stage if [Wes] was to have his way. He wants four children, he came from a family of four,” she said.
