It was announced yesterday that the cast of Mrs. Brown’s Boys will be hitting the road again next year with their Good Mourning Mrs. Brown show.
As tickets are set to go on sale this Friday for the upcoming tour, funnyman Rory Cowan has dished on the details of what it’s like being on the road with the Mrs. Brown’s Boys cast.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Rory said it’s far from fancy dining and champagne on tap, in fact their food of choice is Marks and Spencer ready meals!
“What happens now is we go to a city, into our apartments and the first thing we all do is dash down to Marks and Spencer and get our food in for the week. I love being on the road now I really do,” he said.
Aside from the eating habits, the new Gogglebox narrator also revealed that he will be seeing the script for Good Mourning Mrs. Brown for the first time this week, and he praised Brendan O’Carroll’s unique approach to script reading.
“The read-through is this week and it’s the first time I’ll see the script.
“We never know because Brendan doesn’t want us to get the script in advance because he doesn’t want us to start thinking about the way we’re going to play it and if it’s not the way he wants then we have to be retrained.
“It’s actually a fabulous way to work,” he said.
