Pippa O’Connor has been taking a trip down memory lane after realising it’s been ten years since she began to model.
The mum-of-one shared a lengthy story on her Snapchat account today, chatting about how far she’s come from taking part in Grafton Street photocalls back in the mid-2000s.
The stylish blogger started off by talking about how “wrecked” she’s been feeling lately due to being busier than ever, but she’s thankful as she’s loving all her latest roles, which include being the face of Dublin Fashion Festival and fronting successful fashion factories.
She went on to reveal that she was feeling nostalgic as August 2005 was her first modelling job and she still can’t believe how things have changed since then.
“It’s mad! I’m just thinking of all the jobs I’ve done and the experiences I’ve had that have led me to where I am,” she said.
Pippa added that when she started out modelling she was living with her late mum, and she used to drive her (very glam!) orange punto to various photocalls. “The path was worn out with me,” she laughed.
The stunning blonde said looking back on old photos is “strange, embarrassing and funny.”
“I’m like a different person. The state of me!” she exclaimed. Pippa also said that her drastic makeover throughout the years has prompted comments from people about plastic surgery.
“That really made me laugh,” she admitted. “I just took it as a compliment. It’s all down to losing the bad hair extensions, and the orange tan, finding my style – and having good eyebrows!”
