As if her proposal wasn’t romantic enough, actress Aoibhín Garrihy has been celebrating her engagement to hotelier John Burke in the ‘City of Love’, Paris.
The former Fair City star’s got everyone talking on Monday when she revealed that John had asked the big question with a little help from their adorable Dogue de Bordeaux pooch Rubie, while they were out on one of the couple’s beloved nature walks.
Now Aoibhín has been sharing her celebrations that she’s set to wed her boyfriend of a number of years, and the pair have jetted off to the French capital to do so in style.
The Fall star posted a snap to Twitter of her beaming beside John as he puts a lock onto the famous love-lock bridge, captioning it: “Getting our lock on!”
The stunning blonde also shared snaps of her enviable surroundings in Paris, as well as her celebration attire: a gorgeous LBD from Topshop and bright heels from COSstores.
Aoibhin previously opened up to VIP about her love for John, and admitted she saw herself having a future with him.
“I’d like to think we are heading that way in time, but at the moment we’re both really happy and really busy,” she told us.
“And I guess it’s all about timing.” Well it looks like the timing was right – congrats from VIP Towers, guys!
