Reports have surfaced that The Great Irish Bake Off has been axed.
The hit Irish version of the BBC show has reportedly not been commissioned for a fourth series – much to Irish audience’s disappointment.
A source told The Irish Daily Mail, “Every show has a run and this was just it. It was just felt that after three series that Great Irish Bake Off had run its course.”
However, when VIP contacted TV3 a spokesperson for the station said, “We will not be commenting on any of our programmes until the launch of our autumn schedule on the 31st August.”
Let’s hope these reports aren’t true -we’d love to see judges Anna Nolan, Paul Kelly, and Lily Higgins back on our screens!
